4’33” Mixtape: The Silent Killer
I have a lot to say about this, but I’m going to try to let the video speak for itself mostly. Using John Cage’s infamous proto-noise composition 4’33”, written as 3 movements that total four minutes and thirty-three seconds of silence, I created a best-of Youtube Mixtape. I performed the song at a show with my friend Aaron Roche recently (at Pete’s Candy Store in Brooklyn). Sadly, no video footage of that exists, but I did recently video Brooklyn’s own Das Racist performing the track.
