Glad to see tagging is alive and well in Paris. Found London to be largely a clean city. Not enough fill-in’s. But in Paris, tagging is pretty well covered. Rooftops, metro tunnels, walls, even a few rare extinguishers. Rarely sidewalk drips or roll-downs. Maybe I’m just being an ugly American, but the style generally feels more amateur than American tags. The letters aren’t as complex but there’s lots of enthusiasm, clearly. Met up with Tuya 1Fame and Sond (et des autres) from TQV crew doing legal stuff. Monsier Andre is retired and can only be found in the Palais de Tokyo now, but Monsieur Chat is around and Invader’s still up, 15 years in. And for the record: SATO is all-city. And I’m digging that weird face character. Saw it around quite a bit, in the tunnels and all.
